Body Thermography. |
|
Thermal Imaging, or Thermography, is the emerging science of using the very early and safe capabilities of Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) to capture and analyse abnormal temperature readings. These abnormal heat readings can be risk markers and could ultimately be associated with serious disease or injury within the human body. Used over time, DITI captures the very early physiologic change taking place within
the body in the form of a heat map which graphically displays and measures the picture
of change. In a sense, anatomical change is evident after the event, whereas a change
in physiology is a picture of what is happening very early as it starts to change

Breast Thermography........ |
|
A frequently asked question is, “Does breast thermography, in the form of thermal imaging, take the place of mammograms for breast screening”? No it does not. Thermography and Mammography are completely different and cannot, and should not, be compared one with the other. Using serial screening techniques, Thermal Imaging records early change in physiology, not structure, and at a time when breast disease is a whole lot less dramatic and much easier to manage. Breast thermography does not expose the human body to the possible dangers of radiation nor painful compression of the breast. DITI has early potential because it simply measures and compares change in physiology. |

Thermography is used as an aid which can highlight early abnormalities for the purpose of successful early intervention in a generous array of conditions. It can also be used to monitor therapy progress, for many conditions and injuries. Whilst not exhaustive, conditions include: Vascular Disease, Back Injury, Stroke Risk Screening, Headache, Referred Pain Syndrome, Unexplained Pain, RSD (CRPS), Dental and TMJ, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Inflammatory Pain, Breast Disease, Nerve Damage, Fibromyalgia, Digestive Disorders, Whiplash, Sprain and Strain, Skin Lesions, Disc Disease, Artery Inflammation, and Arthritis, just to mention a few. |

Interpretative Reporting. |
|
All thermology results come with a complete colour printout and are interpreted by board certified and specialty trained doctors. Your results are compiled and posted directly to you. Your results are also forwarded to your doctor if you have so requested.
With the exception of “Murphy”, results will reach your mail box within five to seven business days. |

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO CONSIDER. |
|
Establishing a stable temperature pattern, or base line, that can be repeated on a regular basis, is of the utmost importance when using thermography to evaluate breast health. To ascertain a stable pattern however, thermography requires at least a second reading. Without a second reading, stability cannot be determined.
Reference to this article is available in online searches. “Abnormal or unstable thermology has been demonstrated to be one of the best, extremely early indicators, for those at risk for developing breast cancer. This fact has been known since 1976. At the Third International Symposium on Detection and Prevention of Cancer in New York, thermography was established by consensus as the highest risk marker for the possibility of the presence of an undetected breast cancer. It had also been shown to predict such a subsequent occurrence. The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Detection Foundation presented a summary of its findings in this area which has remained undisputed. This, combined with other reports, has confirmed that thermography is the highest risk indicator for the future development of breast cancer and is 10 times more significant than a first order family history of the disease” .
If risk assessment is known to be high at a very early stage, there are numerous health care professionals available to help you drastically reverse your risk exposure, and often long before reaching a much more dramatic finding. |
