Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) is exciting new technology and has much to
offer the GP, Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Naturopath and any other Health Care
Professional or Client who requires a test of Physiology. DITI is a totally non-
Images or “Thermograms” can be taken of the whole body or just areas being investigated.
The digitised images are stored on a secure server and are sent electronically to
a Thermologist (certified doctor trained in interpretation and reporting.) The report
is colour printed and a copy forwarded to the healthcare professional and/or the
patient, either by post or e-
PROCEDURE:.... Unlike most tests, D.I.T.I. is non Invasive, has no radiation, is painless has no contact with the body and is approved in America by the FDA. The equipment we use is now approved here in Australia by our own TGA.
This reasonably quick and easy test starts with your medical history being taken before you partially disrobe for the scanning to be performed.
Standard region of interest exams take approximately 30 minutes and a full body will take approximately 60 minutes. This time includes time in the room to allow your body to adjust to the controlled conditions of the room and to do necessary paper work.
RESULTS:.... Whatever body region is imaged, your results are reported quickly by certified doctors. The digitised images are stored on a computer and are sent electronically to a Thermologist (certified doctor) for interpretation and reporting. Your report is colour printed and a copy along with a CD (if requested) of your images is sent to you within 5 to 7 working days. A printed copy can also be sent to your health care professional if you are self referred and so nominate. If you were referred by a practitioner, a copy will automaticly be forwarded to you both.
